Dear Parents,
I am looking forward to
working with your student. This letter will be posted to my blog, “5th
Graders Are Awesome”, for reference throughout the year and can be accessed at
the “Contact Us” page on our school’s web site.
Please feel free to send a treat for your child’s birthday. Individually wrapped treats are strongly suggested. There are 12 students in class. Summer birthdays will be celebrated in June.
A student in our
class has a nut/peanut allergy. This is
a potentially life-threatening allergy.
When providing snacks for this classroom, we ask that you check the food
product for the presence of nuts, peanuts or peanut oil, and avoid that
particular food product.
Please consider being a recess parent. Recess is at 12:45 – 1:15 daily. Parent volunteers must be VIRTUS trained. Your assistance with recess would be greatly appreciated.
